We had to only avoid one thing so that we can maintain our life, and fellowship with God. to avoid moving from life to death. Now we only have to do one thing so that we can get back our life and fellowship with God. to move from death to life.

Hearing God first, even when we are labouring for Him

Many times, when we talk of the Holy Ghost speaking to us, we only dwell on him telling us to do the things we know are right from the past experiences and learning we have made with God or in the church. Other times, he is revealing to us the mysteries of this world and the spiritual realm. And on some occasions, we see him rebuking, correcting and counselling us. Healing the Scars

Last year, I got an oil burn on my hand. The wound was huge and the scar it left after 2 weeks was evident. I remember going to a pharmacy to get something that would prevent this wound from becoming a scar just 2 days after the accident and the pharmacist told me “it will not go, maybe with time it will get lighter and less visible but a scar will always be there” I went away and thank God for life and busy schedules for I never had a chance to worry about the scar or give it any attention.

Give Back To God, What Belongs To God

‘Then Jesus said to them, “Give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s.’ Mark 12:17

Lord, should we pay tax?

This is a question that was asked to trap Jesus. It was meant to bring Him condemnation by either causing him to speak against paying taxes or by tricking him into implying obedience to worldly authority is more important than obedience to God. They knew if he chose one option over the other, he would be condemned. But Jesus answered it with such wisdom. He did not have to choose. He told them to give back to Caesar what belongs to him and to God what belongs to God.
